Each felt and straw hat are carefully handmade in El Paso, Texas emphasizing on high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Pro Hats continues to manufacture hundreds of hats daily for generations to come, backed by the cowboy values and tradition.

  • Jeff Biggars has been in management with a large retail chain, the Manager of a successful custom hat store, and General Manager of a large production company. He has designed some of the most sought-after straw hats over the last few years for Resistol and American Hat Company. “Whatever is the best for the hat is the process that we do. We also make a lot of one-of-a-kind hats that you just have to see to believe. All of our straw hats are weaves that I designed, which have been replicated by every major production company.”

  • After 23 years in the Army, Joe’s path led him to where he is today, a saddle maker and leather craftsman. Saddle maker and leather craftsman, Joe Lopez, was accepted as an apprentice from Dale Moore, a master saddle builder, in Belgrade, Montana. Throughout multiple courses from Dale along with Joe’s unique style of craftsmanship, he is continuing to perfect his trade while offering custom handmade leather goods. Joe spends most of his time creating leather goods and spending time with his wife and children in Smithville, Texas. “Oh, I don’t know if you can call me a cowboy, but I do raise cattle, have horses, and wear cowboy hats!”

  • Moore Maker INC. was established in 1985 by Wayland Moore, and Glynard Moore, in Matador, Texas. Today Moore Maker INC., is the largest manufacturer of knives, and ranching tools in Texas. All products are top quality and guaranteed to last, some for as long as the life of the owner. Moore Maker is active in the local community and regularly donates both time and money to livestock shows, and local schools. The family still owns and operates Moore Maker INC. on a daily basis and still finds the time to ranch and farm around Matador.
