4H hat Company is owned & operated by the Hernandez family. How was our name established? There are four family members in our family. Were also Lockhart natives - attended school & graduated from this small town. We’ve also watched the town grow so rapidly, still trying to keep the small-town feel. Our community is important to us! Meet Jesse
Jesse, our hat shaper, has been shaping hats for four years. Taking interest while working at a western store in Austin, Texas, at just 18 years old he recognized hat shaping. After leaving the company in late 2020, Jesse took on his passion & creativity to open 4H Hat Company on April 2nd, 2021. Meeting hundreds of people each week, he enjoys sharing stories, experience & knowledge of hat making & shaping. “It brings me joy to know my hats are traveling all over the world, & a little bit of Texas is with them. I offer meaningful conversations, because you just can’t find that in big chain stores anymore. I want my customers to know they can trust & count on me”. Jesse hopes to keep the art of hat shaping going on for years & generations to come.
